Preparing your language stay

Preparing your language stay

Choose your destination
The student can choose a language stay in one of the following countries: Canada, the USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, New zealand, malta or south africa. When travelling in to or from the school or travelling in general once the student has arrived in the country of their choosing, they will have to use public transport.
Insurance
Medical costs are exorbitant in some countries such as the United states, australia or canada so we strongly recommend tHat you take out comprehensive insurance. To do this we recommend ChapKa Insurance and the CAP student formula which is internationally recognized. This includes 100% of your medical expenses, repatration, a baggage insurance of up to 2000€, civil liability abroad, legal assistance and an optional insurance which insures you for up to 15,000€ if you have to interrupt your studies abroad.
Enjoy up to 5% off the Cap Student insurance when you go through Holingo !
Transport
Transportation is the student's responsability. It is important to check in with the school a few days before your arrival and departure before reserving transportation. Information on the distance between schools and major airports and train stations is available on www.holingo.com
Airport reception and transfer service
A reception or transfer service from the train station/airport of arrival to your accommodation is available for any students who wish to opt for it. This service is very popular with students who want to be taken care of and arrive safely at their destination.
Baggage
Each student is responsible for his belongings. Therefore we advise students not to carry valuables in their luggage. Regarding transportation, it is essential to check the conditions of each company regarding prohibited items and weight/dimension restrictions on luggage.
Pocket money/Credit Card
The student can decide for themselves the amount of pocket money they need to bring in order to cover personal expenses, meals, transportation costs and any possible extra curricular activities they wish to take part in.
